The memorial place BB is conceived as a quiet memory of thankfulness and necessity “to fly on your own wings”. At the same time it is some kind of mutual projection of 2 great personalities of 2 nations. The connecting line arising from the present to the past and from the stone reef to the empty space above the “fjord” serves for this purpose. The reef is a symbolic expression of the Jukovič´s memorial and the empty space above the “fjord” of the person of BB itself. The bench is the visitor´s tool to get closer to them. It is some kind of intimate place for the discussion of person with nature, eternity…god.

The ground plan of the bench is slightly trapezoidal and ended by the glass banister in the narrowest spot above the country. The wooden floor continues to the reef behind the road where the glass panel with the title Bjornson, trilingual information and with the picture of the original Jurkovič´s original of the memorial is situated. During the detailed look on the panel, the title Bjornson will overlap with the rock reef which enables the visitor to “experience” the idea without any interference to the nature. During the dark, it will be possible to project the title on the rock with the led reflector (it will not require the electric intake; because it will have a solar panel with an accumulator).
